• What does “unlimited websites” mean?

  You don’t have to buy a new CUI license every time you want to use it on a new project.

  As long as what you’re building will be owned by the CUI license holder, you can build as many sites as you want without ever having to buy an additional license.

• Is the Bricks theme required for CUI?

  Yes. Each of our packages/Layouts requires a licensed Bricks theme to work. You cannot use our templates with any other theme, and we do not provide this license.

• How often do you update the packages?

  You can expect an update of multiple templates per month. Although we cannot guarantee these numbers we love creating new designs so expect a steady incline in quality templates from CUI. Some will be more complex than others and will take more time to design and develop. The Layouts will provide for you will obviously take longer.

• Why do you use the mobile-first approach?

  We have future-proofed our templates by implementing the mobile-first design and development approach. All of our template designs start at mobile devices first and then scale up to desktop and larger devices. This will bring you faster load times, a better user experience for your website visitors, and much, much more benefits.

• Will the templates slow down my websites?

  Absolutely not. CUI templates are made with Bricks performance in mind, using only clean code, adding no bloat, just how we like it.

• Do you have roadmap?

  Currently, we do not have a roadmap of planned releases but, please email us at [email protected] if you have any suggestions about any templates you would like to see in the future.

• Do you provide Remote access templates?

  Yes, once you’ve purchased your Components package, login into your account and click the ‘Remote template’ button, here you will find the CUI Remote access details.

  Motion templates require the copy/paste method.

  Layout templates are imported.

• How do I added templates to my projects?

  You can either use our Remote template access or, use our copy-paste function by copying templates from our website directly into your project.

• Do you have a Layouts package?

  All of our Layouts will be sold separately but, they can also be purchased in our Complete package. They will include mobile-first, and some also include Motion.page animations and interactions. 

• Do all your Layouts require Motion.page?

  Yes, the majority of our Layouts use Motion.page, you can choose to remove the files but, this will prevent the animations and interactions from working, and it may also result in some incorrectly styled elements.

  Not all of our Layouts include Motion.page files, only ones with the Motion badge.

• Can I purchase a Motion-only package?

  Unfortunately not, our Motion.page templates are only available in the combination package that includes all of our Components.

• Can I purchase a Layouts-only package?

  Unfortunately not, our Layout templates are only available in the complete package that includes all of our Component and Motion templates.

• Do I need to purchase Core Framework to use CUI?

  Yes, you will need Core Framework to use CUI. All of our templates, including our Motion templates, are built using both Bricks Builder and Core Framework.

• Do I need third party plugins to make Motion work?

  Yes, the Motion templates by CUI require the Motion.page plugin to work. If you need to purchase Motion.page, please visit their website.

• Can I use CUI for my own commercial projects?

  Absolutely! Your license gives you permission to build as many of your own projects as you like, whether those are simple public websites or websites that end-users need to pay to access.

• What does “free updates” include?

  We regularly add new Components, Motion, and Layout templates whenever we have new ideas, and all new templates that are added to those categories will always be totally free for existing customers.

• Can I sell templates/themes I build with CUI?

  Unfortunately not, you cannot use CUI to create derivative products like themes, layouts, templates, or anything else where you would be repackaging and redistributing our templates for someone else to use to build their own sites.

• Can I upgrade my package?

  Certainly! If there’s an upgrade available and you wish to avail, please contact us with your request at [email protected].

• Can I use CUI for client projects?

  Absolutely! You can use CUI for basically any type of project — the only thing we disallow is using it to create derivative, competing products.

• What is your refund policy?

• Do you offer technical support?

  CUI is a self-serve​ product, meaning that while we do offer customer support, the expectation is that the customer has the requisite knowledge of Bricks Builder to use the templates successfully.
