License

Standard License

Calumma UI grants you an ongoing, non-exclusive license to use the Templates.

The license grants permission to one individual (the Licensee) to access and use the Templates.

Compatible with Bricks Builder 2.1.4

You can:

  • Use the Templates to create unlimited End Products.
  • Modify the Templates to create derivative Templates. Those Templates are subject to this license.
  • Use the Templates to create unlimited End Products for unlimited Clients.
  • Use the Templates to create End Products where the End Product is sold to End Users.
  • Use the Templates to create End Products that are open source and freely available to End Users.

You cannot:

  • Use the Templates to create End Products that are designed to allow an End User to build their own End Products using the Templates or derivatives of the Templates.
  • Re-distribute the Templates or derivatives of the Templates separately from an End Product, neither in code or as design assets.
  • Share your access to the Templates with any other individuals

Example usage

Examples of usage allowed by the license:

  • Creating a personal website by yourself
  • Creating a website or web application for a client that will be owned by that client
  • Creating a commercial SaaS application (like an invoicing app for example) where end users have to pay a fee to use the application
  • Creating a commercial self-hosted web application that is sold to end users for a one-time fee
  • Creating a web application where the primary purpose is clearly not to simply re-distribute the Templates (like a conference organization app that uses the Templates for its UI for example) that is free and open source, where the source code is publicly available

Examples of usage not allowed by the license:

  • Creating a repository of your favorite Calumma UI templates (or derivatives based on Calumma UI templates) and publishing it publicly
  • Creating a React or Vue version of Calumma UI and making it available either for sale or for free
  • Create a Figma or Sketch UI kit based on the Calumma UI Template designs
  • Creating a “website builder” project where end users can build their own websites using Templates included with or derived from Calumma UI
  • Creating a theme, template, or project starter kit using the Templates and making it available either for sale or for free

In simple terms, use Calumma UI for anything you like except for projects that compete with Calumma UI and would have a negative impact on our product sales.

Standard License Definitions

Licensee is the individual who has purchased a Standard License.

Templates are the JSON source code snippets and design assets made available to the Licensee after purchasing a Calumma UI license.

End Product is any artifact produced that incorporates the Templates or derivatives of the Templates.

End User is a user of an End Product.

Client is an individual or entity receiving custom professional services directly from the Licensee, produced specifically for that individual or entity. Customers of software-as-a-service products are not considered clients for the purpose of this document.

Packages

Any upgrades will result in prorated charges, where applicableas long as the initial purchase was made within 6 months of the requested upgrade. We do not currently offer downgrades of any kind.

If a subscription to any of our packages is canceled, you will not be able to download any of the Templates available within that package after the subscription has ended. You will also stop receiving any support from Calumma UI.

Calumma UI Layouts that are purchased separately and not with a package, come with an individual 3-month support license. Additional support can be purchased separately.

Support can only be provided on live websites and staging websites where we can log in and see WordPress/Bricks Builder/Calumma UI setups and access posts/pages, etc.

Calumma UI Motion requires motion.page plugin to work. Our Motion package does not include motion.page, this plugin must be purchased separately.

Calumma UI only supports its own Templates, which means we will only diagnose any issues with our own Templates. We do not diagnose any third-party products, that includes Calumma UI.

We also reserve the right to change, modify, or remove any template we wish, at any time, without notice.

Upgrades can only be completed if your subscription is active.

Any offers or discounts will only be available to current customers if their current package was purchased 4 days prior to the offering being made available. Discounts are not available on upgrades.

Invoices for purchased package(s) are available upon request.

Single Layouts

Any single Layout purchased individually, outside of a package, will come with a 3-month support service from the purchase date. Additional support can be provided but at an extra cost. Please contact us at [email protected] to find out more.

Remote Template access

Remote Templates is a service provided by Bricks Builder, and we are not liable for any issues caused by Remote Templates not working.

If you come across any issues we will try to help you resolve the issue, and even liaise with Bricks Builder to help find a suitable resolution. Issues may also be with your own hosting provider.

We provide a ‘copy and paste’ method for our templates as a back-up should you come across any issues with the Remote Template access.

Enforcement

If you are found to be in violation of the license, access to your Calumma UI account will be terminated at our discretion.

Liability

Calumma UI’s liability to you for costs, damages, or other losses arising from your use of the Templates — including third-party claims against you — is limited to a refund of your license fee at our discretion. Calumma UI may not be held liable for any consequential damages related to your use of the Templates.

You agree to the service of process at the e-mail address on your original order.
